PUDSEY PALS!
The Anchor, Huntingdon
Children in Need came to the nursery – and that meant tons of fun for the little ones.
Our children made some lovely Pudsey Bears – just look at that amazing artwork!
PUDSEY PERFECTION!
The Appletree, Attleborough
Appletree have been celebrating all things Pudsey and Children in Need
Pippins made Pudsey Bear ears with the adults’ help, played with colourful pom-poms and letters.
They also did a group Pudsey Bear picture that we decorated with lots of spots – some of us got a bit excitable with the paint dabbers and even spotted each other/
The Russet children have really enjoyed exploring our Pudsey tuff tray which contains coloured rice and pom-poms. The children also used coloured pencils to colour in pictures of Pudsey.
Bramley Room enjoyed talking about Children in Need – we spoke about what Children in Need is and what happens on Pudsey Bear Day.

INDEPENDENT DAYS!
The Beacon, Rendlesham
Independence is an essential life skill and one that needs to be nurtured from an early age. All aspects of independence are important for children to learn to be self-sufficient individuals.
One way in which we implement this in nursery is encouraging the Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers to serve their own snacks and lunch at meal times.
This will help them to thrive within a healthy environment, being given the opportunities to do more and more for themselves.
SNUGGLE BUGS!
The Ark, Watton
At the Ark nursery we all enjoy a story. In the Baby Room we snuggled on the sofa and enjoyed a book together – and independently. Early reading has such a huge impact on children's language development.
Home learning: over the weekend enjoy a story with your little one whilst snuggled up on the sofa (blanket optional) and post on tapestry. We look forward to seeing your posts.
RAISING SPIRITS!
Head Start, Ramsey
The children have had a lovely week this week celebrating Children in Need.
We talked to the children about Children in Need and how it’s an event to raise money for charities that helps improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people around the UK.
We have been exploring yellow play-dough with bear shapes, made Pudsey Bear ears, coloured Pudsey pictures, painted spots, matched coloured spots to coloured cups and talked about numbers, shapes and colours.
CHRISTMAS FAYRE!
Woodbridge Day Nursery, Woodbridge
Our Christmas Fayre is on Saturday 9 December between 12 and 3pm.
We already have some amazing stall holders selling the following: freshly baked bread, homemade cakes, fabric gifts, handmade Christmas decorations, Christmas stocking fillers and gifts, beautiful homeware and home decor, aromatherapy products, Christmas jewellery and hair accessories and homemade sensory play products such as moon sand and play-dough.
We only have space for two more tables, so get in touch if you would like a table.
PUDSEY POWER!
Halesworth Day Nursery, Halesworth
We’ve been learning all about Children in Need and why we have Pudsey Bear.
We decided to raise money by having a cake sale and PJ Day. We also took part in lots of Pudsey-themed activities and learnt that we raise money for Children in Need to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.
